What a JOYFUL time we have entered! Christmas is a wonderful season to rest & recollect on the past year of triumphs...and shortcomings...and to gather with family & friends and express your most wonderful gratitude for all. Most importantly, it's a grand reminder of the birth of One greater than all to whom we can submit our lives in worship, our Creator & Savior, Jesus Christ! Glory to the King!

Now for some free holiday festivities to make you the fun of your gathering...or at least the finance nerd...let's tackle the financial burden of that age old Christmas Carol! For the 42nd consecutive year, PNC graciously handled the "The Twelve Days of Christmas" to procure the cost of every gift in the song and how it changed from the previous year.

It still doesn't seem that the Fed is being quite honest with themselves (or us) about this sticky inflation. In the PNC Christmas Price Index (the compiled research acquired to estimate the cost of each gift from all twelve days), for 2025, costs are still rising. To adorn your True Love with all 12 days of gifts, you're in it for $51,476.12 (+4.5% from 2024) this year. To spend money like our congress and get your True Love all 364 gifts from the entire song's repetition of daily gifts, you're looking at a grand total of $218,542.98 (+4.4% from 2024).

It's not too late to start blessing your True Love, as the official twelve days of Christmas begins on Christmas and continues the following days after. Have fun with this and have a truly Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
